To help you out, here is a short list of EDM artists to watch out for in music festivals and/or rave parties:

Chris Lake

He is an English DJ and producer who has been around since the early 2000s, hitting Billboard’s top 10 just as he’s starting his long-applauded career. Chris Lake is the talent behind four consecutive toppers— “Changes”, “Carry Me Away”, “Only One”, and “If You Knew”. He is also very much known for his remixed version of “How Deep is Your Love” that rattled the whole of Soundcloud in 2015. Ravers are especially in love with Chris Lake not because of his consistent topping of the charts. He has very great vision through his music. No wonder his songs are a constant in any rave and music festivals.

Martin Garrix

From an English guy, let’s move on to a Dutch. Martin Garrix is just a consistent topper as Chris Lake. His realm: the DJ Mag Top 100. Actually, it’s not much of a big deal. He’s just been on the top for three years straight, is all. Martin has been the top DJ from 2016 to 2018. Those Coachella ladies sure know him because he is a frequent act. He does not wear cool fanny packs around festivals for sure but he’s a whole sight on his own, mind you. He’s also a spectacular collaborator, as evidenced by songs like “Virus” with MOTi and “Turn Up the Speakers” with no less than Afrojack.

Seven Lions

Actually, there are no seven lions. He is but one guy takin the EDM world seven lions at a time. Jeff Montalvo, the American DJ known as Seven Lions, is the man behind the popular remixes of “Satellite”, “Cosmic Love”, and “On My Way to Heaven”. He is well-loved in music festivals because his music combines that of trance and electro house—a perfect mix for raves. If you happen to come across an event with Seven Lions on the headline, do not hesitate. I repeat, do not hesitate.

Marshmello

There is this one guy who might actually go down in history with the most number of mascot heads worn in a music event. He goes by the name of Marshmello. He started out as a phenomenon unknown to people except for his excellent music. Then, the music had a name—Chris Comstock. He became more popular when he collaborated with Khalid in the song “Silence” and with Selena Gomez for her hit single “Wolves”. He is a cool addition to any musical events. In fact, even first-time ravers will appreciate Marshmello as he sounds a little more mainstream than the others. And, in reality, it’s a lot more fun watching the quirky man in a quirky mascot dole out some badass tunes.

The Chainsmokers

Well, they are no longer someone to watch out for because they have definitely hit the charts now. But, eh, it’s just fun to mention them as not everyone will consider or even realize they are actually EDM. The Chainsmokers, as we all are aware by now, is the dynamic duo of Alex Pall and Andrew Taggart. They are the music and the production behind the all-time favorite “Closer”, featuring yet another bomb by the name of Halsey. Any concert or rave headlining The Chainsmokers is, needless to say, a definite run.

So, fancy hearing any one of these cool guys? Then go grab your own stylish fanny pack, wear your best raving outfit, and buy in the next roster of tickets. You gotta believe us, you do not want to miss this chance.
